Company Resume
On August 13, 1968 Metalcrafts, Inc. began as a dream of three Lancaster brothers, Evans, Pete and Lemuel, with the fourth brother, Tommy, entering the business a year later. Under the leadership of the Lancaster brothers, Metalcrafts grew and became known as a leader in the roofing and metal fabrication business in Savannah, Georgia and Southern Carolinas. Since inception, Metalcrafts has built a reputation on quality.
This emphasis on “quality” has been instilled into the company’s philosophy and into a second generation of Lancaster brothers who currently own the business. Metalcrafts is currently owned by Allen Lancaster, President, Jeffery Lancaster, Vice President and Joseph Lancaster, Vice President. All three are the sons of Tommy Lancaster.
Metalcrafts performs only roofing work today, deciding to concentrate on this segment of its business in 1992 when Tommy and his three sons purchased the business from Tommy’s brothers. By specializing only in roofing, Metalcrafts has taken the approach and successfully implemented an ability to perform all types of roofing. We believe it is our job to fulfill “All of Your Roofing Needs” to be a full service contractor.
Metalcrafts does not specialize in any one type of roofing system but has the personnel, the education, the experience, the commitment and the desire to help you solve roofing problems. We have a Maintenance and Repair Department and have the ability to perform roof evaluations. We install built-up roofing systems, modified bitumen roofing systems, asphault shingles, clay tile, slate, metal roofing and elastomeric coatings.
